TBIBA is dedicated to delivering a quality program for the visiting athletes of the XXXVII U-18 WSBC Baseball World Cup in Thunder Bay by providing a memorable experience while these teams visit our country, and more importantly, our city.
We are seeking recruitment of enthusiastic sponsor organizations to host one of the 12 visiting teams while they are in the city from September 1-10. The host organization is expected to organize one gala event showing their visiting team what Thunder Bay has to offer. One example is a hike through Kakabeka Provincial Park, then enjoying the famous Stanley Burger Experience afterwards. Another example is a trip to the Mount McKay lookout, as the Korean team was invited to do during the 2010 U-18 Baseball World Cup, pictured below.
Be an organization that ‘steps up to the plate’ and help show off our community, the possibilities are endless!
